Summed up, that's all you really need to know about me; because under each of those descriptives, I'm really just an ordinary person, sometimes doing/seeing/trying/thinking about ordinary or extraordinary things, and occasionally writing about those things.

I have a B.A. in Global Media Studies and a M.A. in Christian Studies.  I've traveled to a handful of countries and I once lived in South Africa. I also married the most handsome engineer and found the other half of me. His name is Jake.

While I've always loved fashion, photography, art, food and theology (a good portion of my background on this blog); being married allows me the opportunity to explore other areas of life I'm not so good at. Coming to a somewhat slower season in life, getting married, leaving friends and community again, I find myself reflecting on life and desiring to share the things I'm passionate about.

●I ran a marathon.

●Before this was a life blog, it was a fashion blog.

●I currently live in Columbus, Ohio; but Texas FOREVER.

●I had 9 dreads for 4.5 years.

●I went Great White shark cage diving in South Africa.

●My sister and I got lost in Iceland.

●I rode a camel along Lake Malawi, in Malawi.

●I got married at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO.
